A tradition since 1962

For over 50 years, artists have gathered in Sierra Madre Memorial Park on the first weekend in May to display and sell their finest original work. They come from a variety of backgrounds and practice a multitude of styles. The one thing they all have in common: a commitment to their craft.

Artwork, music, food and entertainment for all

Over the years we’ve added musicians, food trucks, snack vendors, and a silent auction to our lineup, as well as family-focused entertainment like face painters, balloon artists, and children’s craft activities. As a result, artists have reported consistently high sales. The fair is an ideal place to spend time with friends and family, buy a one-of-a-kind Mother’s Day present, or simply to shop for yourself.

Our fine art fair supports the humanities

The Sierra Madre Art Fair is sponsored by the Friends of the Sierra Madre Library, a nonprofit group comprised entirely of local volunteers. All proceeds from the weekend are donated to maintaining our facilities and high-quality programs so that our public library can meet the diverse needs of our growing community.

Win a work of art at the fair’s silent auction

Every year, many of our artists choose to donate one or more of their pieces to a silent auction. If you bid and win, not only will you get to take home a beautiful new work of art – you’ll also be making a donation to the library.
